This 17.5 inch genuine pearl necklace is comprised of forty four 9mm white pearls of superior luster, symmetrical shape and exceptionally smooth surface. I personally selected these pearls during my most recent expedition to the Southern Philippine island of Mindanao earlier this year. This strand has been hand strung here locally by our experienced Japanese craftsmen using the finest silk. In the traditional manner a knot in the thread is placed between each pearl on the strand to provide protection for the pearls and to keep the pearls from scattering in the unlikely event of a break in the thread. The clasp and fittings are 14 Karat yellow gold. The price includes a display quality hand lacquered solid wooden box and an elegant gift bag. There is no charge for delivery.
