The tags consist of two gold chains and two gold dog tags. One tag is supposed to be worn on each chain and they hang down the chest as the US forces traditionally wear them. However, most are now wearing it doubled up on a single chain or just wearing a single chain with one of the dog tags and using the other as a keyring.
Both tags measure 1 1/4" x 3/4" and are engraved "Gucci." The larger chain is approximately 11 1/2" when clasped, and 23" from end to end. The smaller chain is 2 1/2" when clasped and 5" from end to end.
