This is a 2-DVD set of all the episodes of the original Steven Spielberg's Family Dog cartoon, including the original which appeared in 1987 on Amazing Stories. It came from episode 40 of Steven Spielberg's "Amazing Stories" entitled "Family Dog" [production no. 61533], shown on February 16, 1987, about a mischievous family dog and his unloving family. Because the executive producers included Tim Burton and Steven Spielberg, TV executives drooled over the thought of getting this as a series. It ran for ten episodes before being cancelled. This collection is not available commercially and took me years to find all the episodes and get them together on 2 DVDs.
