Let's say you're on the H1 heading home, but you have to go
through Pearl City first. All of a
sudden "Bumper to Bumper Traffic" about a mile ahead. You want to get home, but don't want to
sit in deadlock, there's one exit left before you hit the traffic. Here's what this unit will do for you:
If you do enter an interim destination or a roadblock Pocket LOOX
will immediately re-calculate your route. Route re-calculation is automatic so
Pocket LOOX will continuously make sure you are on the right track. When we
missed an exit on purpose on a highway, Pocket LOOX promptly told us to take
the next exit before it was too late. That is impressive considering we were
traveling at 80mph and the next exit was only one mile away.

and Canada you also get maps for all of Europe which is divided into Alps and
Adria, BeNeLux Region, British Isles, Eeastern Europe and Austria, France,

Audio Player

The integrated speaker is great for directions but if you actually
want to listen to music on this device you’re better off using the headphones.
To listen to music you’ll have to put your audio files onto the mini SD card
along with your maps. So storage capacity is likely to be an issue if you plan
to bring your whole music library with you. To arrange your music Fujitsu
Siemens included a simple interface. It automatically classifies your music
into artists, albums, or genres. You can also create 5 different playlists.
Other options are shuffle and continuous play.

you are navigating. We know some other GPS manufacturers are failing to implement
this feature, so we thought we’d mention that. *******
I also forgot to mention that you could carry this in your pocket
and use the navigation while walking, the MP3 player or Video player while
waiting in the doctor’s office. It

BOTTOM LINE

Fujitsu Pocket LOOX N100 packs a lot of features and into its
stylish small body. It is very portable, the menus are very easy getting used
to, and 3D graphics are cool and fast. Everything we talked about in this
review worked right out of the box without having to refer to the manual even
once. Speaking of that, we’re sure we would’ve discovered other little cool
tricks if we did. $500 price tag also seems to be right - compared other GPS
navigators that have the same set of functions and usually 2 - 3 times bigger
in size.
