Edit images, photographs, and movies
Photoshop is the industry-leading image editing program, offering useful tools for color correction, edge sharpening, and cloning and healing. New Smart Filters and Smart Objects provide nondestructive editing capabilities, while powerful paint and drawing tools even let you create images from scratch. Movie editing options available only in Photoshop Extended allow you to edit multiple frames much as you would edit a still image.
Use powerful tools for amazing results
Photoshop Extended goes far beyond simple cropping and color correction. Use the auto-align layers feature to blend color and shading, quickly select areas of your image with the Quick Selection tool, and focus on your images with enhanced palette management. Photoshop can handle a wide range of file types including JPEG, RAW, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and PSD. Adobe Bridge® CS3 now offers better integration of Photoshop with other Adobe products.
Do even more with Extended
Extended supports many 3D image formats, including 3DS, OBJ, U3D, and KMZ, letting you import, view, measure, and interact with most 3D models. Advanced Vanishing Point technology lets you work on multiple surfaces, while enhanced 32-bit HDR support brings out wider, more realistic-looking ranges of shadows and highlights in multiple exposures.
Convert your images to prints
Adobe teamed with imaging leader Hewlett-Packard® to develop improved printing tools. Improved quality, more predictable reproduction of color, and a larger print preview window are all benefits of using Photoshop CS3. HP, Epson®, and Canon® printers can all be integrated with Photoshop. Of course, because Photoshop has been the industry standard for over a decade, there are a wealth of additional resources available from independent third parties, including software plug-ins, books, and training.
