Gibson 1974 L6, needs work

Vintage, black L6 with black finish and maple neck. Has a crack on the top of the neck which is "repaired" with hardware, not properly repaired, is being sold "as-is". It is also missing a volume knob, and needs some repair on the electrical pick-ups. However, this is the coolest, best playing guitar I've ever seen. It's really light and has killer, low action with a nice sized neck. Very comfortable to play. If you a willing to put a little money in, you will have a rare Gibson that plays itself. It has double humbucker pick-ups with three volume knobs, and tone adjustment. The crack is fairly sever, but the temporary "fix" is actually not bad, it stays in tune and has manages to keep it from cracking any more. Please don't email to tell me I'm asking too much as this I think it's worth it and it is my perogative to ask whatever I am willing to take to part with it. I would not sell it if I didn't need the money, so good luck and make me an offer. Rock on!
