Eight is Enough was directed by Gary Adelson and Reza Badiyi with the writing credits of John Agnew and Adelson himself. The TV show debuted in March 15, 1977 and lasted until August 23, 1981 on ABC network. The series was about a family of eight consist of Tom the father who os a columnist for Sacramento newspaper, Joan the mother and their eight children, Mary, David, Joanie, Nancy, Elizabeth, Susan, Tommy and Nicholas.

Joan died and after her death, Tom met Abby a teacher and got married. Thus, this made the family eight again. They have their share of struggles in life, had friends and relationships as well.
