Plot:
New Years' Eve 1999 - Earth is about to run out of time...
Returning home to Gallifrey with the remains of his old enemy, the Master, the TARDIS is forced off corse, pluning the Doctor into the middle of a gun battle in downtown San Francisco, December 1999. Critically wounded in that shhot out, the Doctor regenerates to save his life. But he's not the only one reborn - the Master too has a new body with which to wreak havoc, and his ultimate goal is to steal the Doctor's life-force.
As the clock counts down to a new Millennium, the Doctor and Dr. Grace Holloway must stop the Master destroying the Earth. But at what cost?
Doctor Who is a television movie based on the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It was originally broadcast on May 14, 1996 on the Fox Network. In order to avoid confusion with the series name, the executive producer Philip Segal Enemy Within although this title was never used during production subsequently suggested that fans of the series could refer to the telemovie by the unofficial title.
