A PREMIUM XBOX 360 system comes with the hard drive which allows you to download online content and save your game progress. A CORE XBOX 360 system comes without the hard drive. You need a hard drive or memory card to save your progress in games. A premium XBOX 360 is recommended but will not hinder gameplay if you do not have one.

How is the system modded? Is there a chip in it? Is my warranty VOID?

The xbox is modded using a firmware flash on the dvd-rom drive. This is how all the xbox 360’s are modified currenty, there is no physical chip installed. Your warranty is not VOID, all systems come with a 3-month warranty through Microsoft. All systems sold are not the plagued ‘launch date systems’, all the systems sold are brand new and were manufactured in 2006.

What does a modified XBOX 360 system do?

A modified xbox 360 allows you to play backed-up games as well as original games. You play the games off the disc. Each system comes with 6 games of your choice, extra games are ONLY $10 each.
