CX-One Package integrates all of the Support Software for Special I/O
Unit and CPU Bus Units such as Position Control Units, Motion Control
Units, Temperature Controllers, and Process Controllers.

CX-Integrator Network Configuration Support Software provides a new
support software environment.
Features
CX-One
unifies the individual components of the OMRON Support Software library,
such as the CX-Programmer, to a single system-wide software suite.
Previously,
Support Software applications were acquired separately to support each
PLC, Special I/O Unit, or CPU Bus Unit. Each application focused on
individual Units, so very little information was passed between the
applications.
The
CX-One Support Tool Package provides an integrated environment to unify
the relevant Support Software information across the whole system.
Previously,
each Support Software application was purchased separately for each
different PLC, Special I/O Unit, or CPU Bus Unit and had to be installed
individually in the computer. It was also necessary to register each
application separately for support. With the CX-One Package, all of the
applications can be purchased and installed together. In addition, all of
the applications can be registered together as a package.

Unifying the FA Network Settings and Starting Environment
The
CX-One simplifies the FA network system settings and startup environment,
which previously required specialized Support Software and Diagnostic
Software for each type of network. The CX-One Support Tool Package is
equipped with the powerful CX-Integrator, which integrates the various FA
networks such as Ethernet, Controller Link, NT Link, serial communications
(CompoWay/F), and DeviceNet. Once the CX-One is installed in a computer
that is connected to a PLC in the FA network, all of the network's
settings and startup.

Executing Required Settings and Starting Support Software from the I/O
Table
With
the CX-One Support Tool Package, each Unit's parameters can be edited and
its specialized Support Software can be started from the PLC's I/O Table,
allowing integrated management of all of the FA system settings and
startup environment.

Updating the Software Environment with the CPS Import Function
The
CPS (Component Profile Sheet) files support the CX-One Support Tool
Package's advanced functions by providing essential information, such as
the ID information (model and version number) and parameter definitions
for the CS/CJ-series PLCs, Special I/O Units, CPU Bus Units, and other
components. (EDS files are used in DeviceNet.) The CX-One is supplied with
definition information files written in the CPS files in XML format for
most available OMRON devices. As OMRON manufactures new PLCs, Special I/O
Units, CPU Bus Units and other components that have CPS or EDS files, the
new files will be made available online so that they can be imported when
required.
