PLOT: Long ago an ancient race, the Lemurians, discovered the ability to use portals that, when combined with a key, could transport anything across the vastness of time and space. If used for good, these portals could maintain the harmony and balance of the various planes of existance. In the wrong hands, however, they would surely bring about the destruction of everything good and pure. Once a student of the Lemurians, a very powerful and evil warlord, Skull Master, was obsessed with obtaining the key. Betraying their faith, he destroyed the Lemurians and stole their secrets, a single Lemurian survived: Virgil, whom launched a crusade through the ages to end Skull Master's evil. Each generation, a hero is chosen to bear the key... the time is now, and Max is that hero. Assisted by Virgil and the guardian Norman, Max attempts to fulfil his destiny to defeat Skull Master and restore the balance of time and space. This is the tale of the eternal struggle between the forces of good and evil. This is the tale of Mighty Max.
