These outrageous magpies were the stars of Terrytoons galaxy of cartoon line-up of Saturday Morning and Sunday Morning shows which featured also in the category Mighty Mouse, Deputy Dawg and so many more that were featured during the late-1950's and well into the 1960's and the early 1970's (which originally ran on CBS-TV from 1956-1972), and was sponsored by General Mills cereals.  As for the birds themselves, you had a smart aleck New York bird, and a proper speaking British one who were always getting into all sorts of trouble, and it was hilariously funny especially with the birds getting into mischief.  A must see to what they will do next.
